Popular Upstate Restaurant Reopens After Burning Down on Easter 2015

ANDERSON, S.C. —More than 13 months after burning down on Easter Sunday 2015, J. Peters Restaurant has reopened. Anderson fire crews said flames shot through the roof of J. Peters on Interstate Boulevard on April 5, 2015. It took them several hours to extinguish the fire. No one was injured in the fire, and no cause was ever released.
